We've been learning about RSS feeds using Google reader. I've already been using RSS feeds in Outlook both at home and at work. So first step was to transfer my work RSS feeds across - the I-desk blog and our teams blog.
The came the fun part, having a play and finding other things to subscribe to. I subscribed to the following:
- National Nine News - to get my daily news fix
- Masterchef - recipes to inspire
- The Backpacker - one of the SMH travel blogs
- No Money - Finance tips aimed at those between 15-35 (I really need the advice sometimes)
- Attic24 - the crafty crochet blog I mentioned earlier in the week, for my craft fix
I've already become addicted to RSS feeds using Outlook at home. I can see this addication growing. What a way to spend my working day ;-)
